This is a life hacks type of post: how to get every last bit of toothpaste out of the tube (really it’s just another one of my thrifty ways: Trinh’s Cheapskate Tip #1, as Steel suggested).  Call it what you want, but this is totally worth sharing simply because it’s so simple.  You don’t need to buy a fancy toothpaste clamp.  You don’t need to use a clip.  You don’t need to roll it up, and you certainly don’t need to cut it open with a knife.  All you need is a toothbrush.  The nice thing about this is that your toothpaste should already be near your toothbrush, so there’s no hassle involved here.  Just place the toothpaste flat on the countertop.  Using the handle of your toothbrush, press it against the bottom of the tube and slide/push it to the top.  Done!

Look how flat the tube gets!  It fits in a book!  Does anybody else do this?  Please comment if you do!

    Hi Duo,

    Love your stuff!
Any cheap suggestions on gift wrapping stations? Mine’s a hot mess! Just a bunch of bags hanging in the corner of my garage.

    Thanks!
