I’ve been collecting motivational quotes for quite some time now, mostly through Pinterest.  These five quotes, in particular, were perfect for my classroom since we are encouraging our students to be flexible learners with a growth mindset this year.  As I prepped for the new school year, I took these quotes, typed them up, printed & laminated them, attached it to orange construction paper (the how to duo colors, of course) , and hung them across my office/classroom window.

The quotes read in order from left to right:
1) Character is doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
2) No one is perfect. That’s why pencils have erasers.
3) Mistakes are proof that you are trying.
4) Don’t let failure be an ending. Make it a beginning.
5) I think. I question. I design. I create. I struggle. I collaborate. I try. I invent. I learn.

Attached are the PDF files I created. Feel free to use them if you’d like: MotivationalQuotes.pdf
