Today’s quick recipe is for Apple Egg Salad.

I think it’s so good that people will be b-egging you for the recipe. And it’s over-easy to make!
You think I’m yolking around? Trust me, this stuff is egg-cellent.
Am I cracking you up yet? Or do you feel like you want to beat me? Laughing only eggs me on, sooooo…. yeah.

Is anyone out there?

Alright, you will need:

8 hardboiled eggs
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
3 tablespoons of mustard
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
1 Granny Smith apple
Salt and pepper (if desired)

Chop up your hardboiled eggs and your apple. The apple should be cut into the same size as the eggs.
Mix your mayonnaise, mustard, cayenne pepper, and garlic salt together in a bowl.
Combine the eggs and apple with this mixture.
You’re done.

I like this take on egg salad because the apple adds a nice crunch to the otherwise mushy egg salad. I think it’s a nice contrast. The cayenne pepper gives it a little kick too. Enjoy this egg salad on a bagel like I did, because the fatter the better, right?!

I’m eggs-hausted. I’ve been scrambling to come up with more egg puns, and now my brain is fried. I sup-poach I should stop now.

… hello? Anyone?

What a delicious sounding idea! I love sweet and crunchy in my salads! I’m going to try this right away!

After the lemonade diet I can’t bring myself to eat cayenne pepper. Can you suggest another spice to use instead?

Paprika would be a good one since that’s used in deviled egg recipes. You could always just season it heavily with black pepper too!
