This Valentine’s Day fell on a Tuesday. No big whoop for me and my huz, cuz everyday is Valentine’s Day for us. Are you thinking, “Aw, so sweet,” or “Ew gross, get a room”? Ahahaha! Anywho, as I was saying, it fell on a Tuesday, so we decided to have a family date night at Denny’s. It was a win-win. My family loves breakfast food (they have other food there too if you’re not a big fan of breakfast), Denny’s is very family-friendly, and kids eat free on Tuesdays at 4-10 PM!

Here’s a brief play-by-play of the night:

  1. The kids’ menu came with Denny’s crayons, so each child circled what they wanted, which made ordering very easy.
  2. There was a Ziosk on the table. You can put additional orders on it, and pay your bill at the end. It also offered games (for a small fee) to pass the time while waiting for our food. My frugalness clearly opted out of the Ziosk games.
  3. Instead, my kids enjoyed working on the kids’ menu activities, while my huz and I talked and had googley heart eyes for each other. Ahahaha!
  4. When our food came, we all talked about our day. The kids talked about their Valentine’s parties at school. It was the best when I asked them what their favorite part of the day was, and they all said, “Now, right now!”

Thanks Denny’s for the great service and a great family dinner out!
