Sriracha is something I’ve always had in the fridge growing up. It’s a very common Asian household item, just like soy sauce. It’s awesome to see how popular it’s gotten nowadays! So many restaurants are adding it to their menu. Just the other day, I was at Islands, and they were featuring Sriracha burgers for a limited time! I didn’t try it, but I bet it would’ve been tasty!

Sriracha actually goes well with almost everything savory (pizza, burgers, pasta, etc), but ever since I passed on trying that Sriracha burger, I’ve been itching to have something this with a dash of it. So today, I decided to make Sriracha tuna salad, and it gave my sandwich the perfect kick! I definitely recommend trying it. It’s so easy too – just add Sriracha to whatever basic tuna salad recipe you already use, and there you have it!

Here’s my recipe:
4 cans of tuna (7 oz cans)
1/4 of an onion (chopped)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1 tbs Sriracha
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cracked pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Drain the tuna and mix all ingredients into a bowl. Add chopped celery and/or carrots if you’d like extra texture and crunch. I normally would, but I didn’t have any in my fridge, so only onions this time. Mix all the ingredients well, then top it with Sriracha and cracked pepper. Srirach Tuna SaladSriracha Tuna Salad
